EU accession negotiations
The Institute aims to be involved in the process of negotiation for membership in the European Union on the basis of external contribution, through the development of practical policy proposals, providing recommendations and suggestions for improving this phase of integration. Also, IA actively and directly participates in this process within the working group for Chapter 23 – Judiciary and fundamental rights, in preparation for the country’s accession to the European Union. In addition to participating in the creation of anti-corruption policies and mechanisms in the context of the Chapter 23, IA is, in accordance with its fields of research, directly interested in the progress under Chapters: 5 (Public Procurement), 24 (Justice, Freedom and Security) and 32 (Financial control).
